Case Study: Northwest Community Credit Union

Northwest Community Credit Union (Northwest) is a growing institution that serves about 3,000 members in Chicago, IL. The credit union has always been committed to using technology to improve its efficiency, member experience, and security. However, it faced some challenges with its previous IT partner, who did not prioritize their needs, had frequent turnover, and increased their prices significantly.

In 2022, Northwest decided to switch to Pure IT, a credit union service organization that specializes in providing IT solutions for credit unions. Pure IT was introduced to Northwest by the Illinois Credit Union League, where Jose Garcia, the CEO of Northwest, serves on the board.

The timing was impeccable, as Northwest was concurrently undergoing an IT audit by its insurer, ASI, necessitating resolutions for various network, server, and security issues.   • Implementation of a cutting-edge AI-powered security camera system that helps protect branches and members, where Pure IT facilitated network updates and changes
