Cloud Environments
Cloud Environments
Cloud technologies are becoming more commonplace in financial services as the value they bring is beginning to exceed that of traditional on-prem services. Pure IT is here to help your credit union navigate your cloud journey. The journey to cloud services is not a single moving day. It is a continuous improvement process over a period time that aligns to the CU's information security goals.
Microsoft 365
Microsoft 365 has revolutionized how credit unions access critical communications infrastructure through the public cloud. Through solutions with Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Azure AD, and many others, Microsoft's tools are enabling credit unions to adopt a secure-first cloud methodology. This enables a CU to dramatically increase their security posture and service availability, while maintaining budgets.
Microsoft Azure
What Exchange Online was to the old on-prem Exchange environments, Azure is doing the same to server infrastructure. With highly redundant, geographically diverse facilities, Microsoft's Azure compute platform brings technologies to credit unions, previously unavailable as reasonable prices. Services such as Azure App Service let's an organization run a PHP or node.js application, without having to manage or maintain the underly server infrastructure.
Amazon Web Services
Similar to Azure, AWS is revolutionizing the manner in which organizations take server workloads to the cloud. A direct competitor to Azure, AWS offers similar *-as-a-service type products, enabling credit unions to focus on providing the best possible service and value to their members and not on keeping the lights in the server closet on. Services such as AWS Quicksight is a data visual service similar to Power BI or Tableau for orgs looking to up their data analytics game. Again, this is offered as a service to the end user, meaning no server infrastructure to host or maintain.
Modern Workplace
Microsoft's Modern Workplace initiatives pair Teams, with SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams Phones, and numerous other systems to create a hybrid work environment. The integration of traditional PTSN phones in Teams, enables your staff to use one single unified messaging client, Teams, across all of their devices. Gone are the days of needing to VPN into the office to get a file; they can be stored securely in 365 and accessed securely from a remote endpoint anywhere in the world, ultimately increasing the speed of work and employee satisfaction.
